Nonprofit work is an emotional endeavor — a true labor of love. It is nearly impossible not to have a strong emotional response when serving others, and that’s OK. Emotions elicit passion, and it is our passion that fuels our commitment to a cause. But these same emotions can often lead us to act impulsively or rush into decisions with negative consequences for our nonprofit.
